ok, i've finally gotten a digicam so i can take pictures. and i can upload them to my comp pretty easily. and then i discovered google's free photo-hosting service, and since i already have an email acct. with them, i thought they would be a perfect place to hold my images so i could post them to lj.
big bummer... i can't seem to post them to lj, *or* post a link to them to lj. i'm not sure if that's because google's security won't let me, or because the new posting interface on lj is kinda sucky.
so... i went out, and i looked at photo-hosting services. both photobucket and flicker have free accounts available. i have two questions:
1) if it's the funky new posting interface, should i break down and DL semagic?
2) if it's not the funky new posting interface, do people prefer photobucket, or flickr, and why?
thanks, guys.

Hugs!
