ok, i'm having problems getting any images to show up. i've tried google's picasso. i've tried flickr. the following is the img command using the flickr photo. i changed the brackets so you could actually see it - that's exactly what i paste in the url bar in either the rich text or html input version of the update screen. why isn't it working?

You have to have a .jpg (or other image) tag on it or img src hates it.

Go to flickr, select the image. Go to the all sizes tab. Pick the size you want. Copy the HTML that's under the image (flickr gives you the HTML you need as well as a direct link to the image as a second option). You've been using the link to the flickr page with the image on it, not the image itself.

Try that. In general, you can right-click on the image in your link and "Copy Location", then use that link (which has a .jpg on the end) for the guts of the tag.
