storm watch

so.... where i live is under a watch for tropical storm karen.  i am sheltering in place with my roomie and the two dogs.  roomie's been thru this a few times, and is confident that this one won't be a huge disaster waiting to happen.  since they've been downgrading the storm's intensity all day, so am i.  however, we have a weather radio for a reason, and we'll be keeping an eye on the news, and everyone updated.

the intensity is even lower this morning. still under a tropical storm watch, but the winds aren't supposed to be as bad as forecast yesterday, and yesterday the forecast was a minimal 'storm' rating, as opposed to a 'depression'.

I don't worry about it unless it gets to cat 3 or so.
Which is why I ran from Rita and Ike...5's both of them. Then they came a little closer to shore after I ran and got major down grades. *shrug* meh
