Gil Hale's 'Runners' - which remains an excellent story. you have to look to actually catch a lot of the British phrasings, which is nice for a change, but 'tin of flapjacks' is so unusual in the States that it sort of jumps out at you. and if you're not used to that particular item of British gourmet, you're stuck with all sorts of interesting mental pictures!
