ponderin'

well, the good news is that i have a line on a foundation repair company that gives free estimates.  i'll wait till i'm back to work to call them.  my real estate agent recommended them, and also that the termite guy come out and spray the room because the crack might become an access point.  definitely doing that, because it's a good idea.

i have just the glaze on that ceiling to go, and i'm - hopefully - gonna do it tonight, but i'm wondering if i should go ahead and do the trim.  if the cement has to be repaired, instead of just patched, will i need to redo all the trim, or just touch up?  questions, questions.

the yellow in the closet in the room is done except for touch-up, though, and that's good.

i actually *am* having a ball painting my new home :) although i think i will have to re-do the ceiling. the glaze didn't quite work out the way i wanted it to, and i can't figure out how to fix it with the light the way it is right now. but it'll get fixed. may have to practice a little bit.

i need to fix the hose to the clothes-washer on the wall side. i went and got some stuff today, but i need a bigger wrench to un-do the twisty-on thing.

and i finally decided on half the trim in the office, all the trim in the closet, and the kitchen. and and and... ;)

Uhmmm why only HALF the trim in the office?

i meant 'only half the trim until i can get the crack in the cement floor looked at'. eventually it'll all be done, but i don't want to do something i'll just end up *re*doing if i have to have an expensive repair on the floor.
