... in my neck of the woods, at least.  my facility help line told me just now that i've got to go to work tomorrow at normal opening time, blah.  i kind of wanted to stay home tomorrow, too, oh well.

i cleaned the apt from top to bottom though, so there is that...

Glad to hear that. (About all the hurricane-related stuff, not that you're working tomorrow. Although, if they have you going in so soon, maybe things are back to normal already. Much better than when Katrina hit.)

mostly normal in the Mobile area. some low-lying areas flooded, but my apt didn't even lose power, and the house i'm trying to close on didn't seem any worse for the wear after a quick drive-past.

work was a bit of a bear today - we had no a/c, and it was hotter indoors than out. ugh. dripping sweat is *so* professional!

but they'll fix it, and it'll be ok. it takes it out me, tho, so i'm sort of pooped right now.

*grins* thanks. i'm waiting to hear word from NOLA - i have a lot of friends over there, and some have checked in, but some haven't. lot of local flooding and power outages, which is nervous-making.
