Dick Clark died today, at 82.

The Space Shuttle's retired, Dick Clark's gone... it feels weirdly like the end of an era, so many things are *ending*.  in a timely manner, many of them, but still...

I told my husband the world is definitely ending this year. Without Dick Clark to usher in the New Year, it's just not gonna happen.

I thought Dick Clark was immortal. He's been a fixture my whole life. *shakes head*
