managed to get back into the gym today - last week with the sickies it was a total no-go.  did another 3mi on the exercise bike, around about 17.5min, 102cals by the digital board on there.  i blasted my ipod in my ears and now i have a mild case of tinnitus while my eardrums recover.  and i just indulged in a bunch of chips and guacamole dip - one of the hardest things about 'being healthy' is that the only crunchy food i can eat is carrots - and that gets boring after a while.  but why do i positively *crave* tostada chips after working out?

*baffled*

Maybe you need the salts? Although I personally hate it and only take it when I'm sick, you might try a little Pedialyte during and after your next session. See how that feels.

Congrats on the exercise!

you might be right at that... but i suspect a light mix of gatorade and water will do just as well. :-p

thanks for encouragement - *grins* - cause i surely need it right when i finish pushing those peddles and the whole body goes 'oh ghods, don't ever do that again!' :-p

Someone beat me to the salts suggestion. I'm rather sensitive to salt and usually do anything to avoid it, but since I've been back on the treadmill, I've noticed I will crave salty things sometimes. And it doesn't bother me as much as I used to either. Walking does wonders for your blood pressure. Speaking of, glad you're back at the gym!

thank you! :) and yeah. right now, i'm occasionally experiencing episodes of dizzy-ness - like one every few days. i'm kind of wondering if that's not because my blood pressure is lowering to the point where my blood pressure medication makes it *too* low.... that would be a good thing, actually. :-D
