a bit late for my 'thankful' post, but....

so i meant to post this when i got home, but guh.

i've got a house this year, and i love it, and this is one of the best 'thankfuls' ever. :)

i'm thankful for:
my parents, who love me despite driving me crazy, and whom i love, especially because they drive me crazy.
my sister, who understands
my brother, who's an incredible cook
my brother-in-law, for making sis happy, and helping me learn to laugh
my sister-in-law, for making my brother happy, and being willing to put up with the lot of us :)
my oldest niece, who inherited my mother's voice - not the tone, but the 'pealing church bell' quality to it, which i've always  
    thought was the most wonderful sound to come from a human throat
my next-oldest niece, who plays a remarkable violin
my 3rd-eldest niece, who's an amazing accompianist
my youngest niece, who's turning out like me, except she can actually play chess, lol
my twin nephews, one who's sure to be an engineer like dad and me, and the other who's looking to drive my brother crazy by
   doing all the things *he* did when bro was a teen-ager
my flist, who quietly send me hugs when i need them, and support when i'm feeling down
my baenbarchat and callahan's friends, who give me stimulating conversation in the evening, even though i live alone
my friend kentbobII, who cracks me up every time
my SCA friends and family, who aren't as consistent about contact (because life), but love to see me when i manage to get to
   an event, or drop by for a visit.

and soon i'm going to be thankful for christmas vacation... so i can spend more time painting the house!  such a big project, lol.
