weekly update

boogieshoeswell i found the DMV this friday, and evidently there was a sneak installation of street signs, because it was suddenly all very clear. *snorts*
i waited for a couple hours to get thru the line, which is somewhat standard, but that was ok, because i got to watch Brenden Fraser's ass for most of the time. well, i kid, or rather, inmate ticket number 78 was a kid, but i swear he looked like Brenden Fraser at 20, and damn was he cute. then again, we all know i like a good ass - i'm looking at you, Chris Larabee!
still have to get brake tags, license plates, and registration for car, but the move receipts are filed. also need to get a passport, since i'll probably be in Germany for 3 weeks later this year, heh.
went shopping today for something that could be used as a computer desk. couple of antique stores that made me wish i was filthy rich, and rooms to go, which the guy was like 'can i help you?', and i said 'eventually i'll be in the market for a computer desk', and there passed almost a fight just to go in the store and look. not a fight-fight, it was just... by that time i'm going 'dude, i'm gonna look at this store whether you like it or not, so just let me by!' not that i said this, but that was just the level of exasperation i was feeling... :-p
the SCA should be in the park this weekend - turns out last weekend was a regional fighter practice across the bay. that's a normal thing that happens every few months for most groups, just that last week was my bad luck to be the weekend i decided to make contact...
next fetlife bunch munch is feb 20th, right across the street. i know this, because that was explicitly laid out in the announcement this time, hah.
in other news, i want more chris/buck porn, more sentinel/'TS crossovers, more kidfic, etc.... *makes puppy-dog eyes at the fandom's porn-writers*
