late happy easter!
Apr. 26th, 2011 05:20 pmso, i was kinda wiped this weekend, and did pretty much nothing but stitch and read and spend money, heh. it was a good weekend in it's way.
i was wiped yesterday, too, or i would have reported a comment my mother made over the phone:
'hi boogie, just wishing you happy easter! it's a little rainy here, but we're having everyone over today and expect to have a good time!' most of you may not remember, but my parents, sibs, and the kids all live in madison county, IL, which is just across the river from st louis, MO. we'd been having pretty nice weather down here in coastal alabama, so i got curious and turned on the weather channel. i was expecting normal spring floods.
i found this.
my mother, master of the understatement.
( then she mentioned my nephew had an accident on his sister's bike. (link hides big-ish pics of not-horrible wound, but there is some blood) )
and that's my life this week.
