drama! drama in the house!

Ok, so the reason i've been so quiet lately is because my computer DIED A FIERY DEATH!  i was finally driven to buy a new laptop before i was ready to, which is to say, before i deposited my first check from new!job.  :-/

i knew i was going to need to get something soon, but i was hoping to delay that until January, sigh.  I don't have anything horribly important from the other computer that i have to have, but i do want to save those files if i can.  oi!

one good thing - i should be able to start writing again, sooner than i otherwise was going to.  see, new laptop, new keyboard, no old sticky key problems, heh.

but Good Goddess, i missed y'all.  and also, i can't function w/o internet :-p
