we're having a heck of a time here at work
Mar. 4th, 2010 07:17 amso... last week i went on vacation, and had a great time, only to come back to:
1) 2 co-workers had been in car accidents. one had his family with him - they're all nominally fine, although this co-worker has had some neck issues he and his doctors are keeping an eye on. the other didn't have his family with him, but broke his collar bone.
2) D, one of the dept admins, was out with the flu.
that was monday.
wednesday, my SOR stayed home with the flu.
today, C, the other dept. admin, is home sick, i half-suspect SOR is still sick, and D's mother-in-law collapsed, passed out, and was revived. current indication is that the MIL is stable, but D's a bit of a wreck right now, for obvious reasons.
somedays... at any rate, if any of my flist cares to light a candle or say a prayer for random people they've never met, i'm sure my co-workers would appreciate it. the stress level around here lately's been a bit on the high side. :(
