weekend round-up

managed to finish some stuff this weekend:

got the final package for lwj2 's son out in the mail - just cookies, coffee, and cross-stitch kits this time.

mom came in and we made chili con carne-ish with bean, corn, tomatoe products, buffalo burger meat, and lamb roast.  it was good.

mom also ate half my ice cream. :-)

i subjected her to 'night at the museum', which she liked, and 'madagascar', which she fell asleep during, and subsequently tried to convince me to leave the tv on, because she 'always slept with the tv on!'  it was a giggler of a moment.

mom and i did the window shopping version of house-hunting this weekend - found some great areas to look... and some not so great ones, but we still had fun.
