weekend in a nutshell

ok, horny chick is horny. i bet Buck Wilmington could take care of this problem nicely. *sighs* cops - never around when you need 'em.
and also, i finished all the garden chores this weekend, so i *came into work* to avoid doing housework on sunday. how sad is that?
in other news, i've been watching x-files on dvd and scaring myself silly. in the first season, i:
1) saw them get some facts wrong - foxglove is so dangerous that you should handle the *live* plants with heavy duty gloves, and all dosages one is likely to get from a home preparation, no matter how small, are going to be fatal. ('Eve')
2) saw the first ep that was so scary i decided not to watch it right before bed - it's the one with the Antartic Drilling Station parasite.
3) skipped over the first ep i absolutely can't watch without nightmares - the giant tick episode. yeah, no thanks.
4) the manitou episode - seriously, scully, how obvious does it have to be?!
of course, Mulder answers that in the first or second ep in Season 2, which i have dubbed 'the giant planarian episode' - in which he jumps into a sewer without any protection at all, when he *knows* the flatworm parasite of death is in there, looking to attack peoples. dude.
the horror movie cliches in x-files are starting to get, well, cliche. but it's all in good fun. or at least, scary fun.
