boogieshoes | feel much better today

so, i got a shot in the butt yesterday, and now i'm ready to be a pain in the ass again, hee!

i'm really surprised at how much better i feel. i need to run to walmart today and get my Z-pack - i dropped off the 'script yesterday, but there was a two-hr wait, and there was *no way*.

yesterday evening was.. 'fun'. i think the steroid shot must have jump-started my immune system, because when they temped me with their neat auto-everything-checker yesterday, it read 97.1F. my basal temp is about 96.8F, so that would be a normal daily rise, which means that i wasn't running a fever at all. bad news for trying to fight something. good news was that my BP read 114/82, and the HR was 80/min. anyway, so the shot jump-started stuff, and my temperature elevated to the point where i was sitting in only my panties on the couch, with the fan going and the a/c set at 70F. and i was *still* sweating like a pig.

temp spikes + head stuffies = my inner ear getting jostled a little = me getting minor dizzy spells. oi. so i didn't make gingerbread cookies tonight, and will probably not make them tonight, but will undoubtedly get to them tomorrow. soldiers should have cookies *nodnods*!

that's the state of the mare today, folks... still have a bit to go, but feel a lot better.
