i hate mondays

it was a long, reasonably good weekend, except my energy level right now seems to be zero.  stress of the holiday season, possibly, not sure.  at any rate, in the next week, i need to:

1) order Eldest Niece's present online
2) bake cookies for Christmas Revel, work, stacey's wedding, and various individuals
3) callig 3 scrolls
4) finish hand-stitch pillow thing for mom and dad
5) cloak clasp on cloak

thursday night is the deadline, because i have to drive into Revel on Friday evening and help.  probably with troll.  feeling better over-all since BAM, emotionally speaking, but blech on energy levels, like i said.

also, i got 1 present for Christmas this year.  i know the season isn't about getting presents, but... ok, yeah, it makes me feel connected to folks.  it's intensely pathetic to get only 1 present from other people.  it makes me feel like i have no life.::rolls eyes at self::

{hugs} That's what I tell people who complain about getting the wrong presents. Some of my relatives send some fairly - strange - things, but the thought is there...

yeah. and i'd rather scratch my head at a gift than get no gift at all. i feel so very horrible for complaining about it, you know? i mean, it's all so very logical: times are tight, kids' gifts are the thing to do... but it still doesn't help when i know that everyone else is getting a gift from their spouses, and i have one lonely gift from mom and dad. i mean, i *totatlly* appreciate that gift... but it's looking a little lonely there...
