After just reading the first 2 paragraphs, I'm 90% sure my reaction would be to shrug and say that aerospace engineering is not really rocket science... but now I'm afraid you've heard this joke, like, a hundred times (although you didn't list it, so maybe I wouldn't sound completely boring). Anyway, nice rant. Hopefully things will get better.
