So, all the ‘serious’ wishlists have been made and sent out – the fandom stocking list is here, and my wishlist for the adults’ gift exchange was for my gift-giver to find a soldier serving in theater, and send him or her a letter. What follows below is my ‘if wishes were horses’ wishlist… cause it’d be kinda cool if even the poorest among us could afford good horses, good tack, and good equine-services to take care of our mounts.
1) Well, I got all excited about Breyer horses again, because, well *BREYER HORSES, YO*. But what I’d really like is a list of all the models breyer has produced over the years. I don’t mean body-molds, either, but the paint jobs on said molds. Like, for Ruffian, there’s the ‘Ruffian natural paint job’ and the ‘Ruffian with the hallowe’en paint job’. Both models have different numbers. I envision the listing to go like this:
a. Model Number # 37 #650
b. Model Name Ruffian Coyote Run
c. Model Body Ruffian Ruffian
d. Model Year 1985 2012
e. Status General Special Run (Hallowe’en)
f. Scale Traditional Traditional
g. Nice clear picture of each model
I actually think this exists, somewhere, but not on the Breyer website – they only list current releases and retired for the last 6-mos releases. There’s a Breyer Collectibles book, but I don’t think it’s updated every year. I *think* I ran across this on a website somewhere, but I can’t remember where, or if it was up-to-date and all-inclusive. I do know it didn’t have a lot of pics on it.
2) While I’m at it, I want the above system for Barbie and the official Trail of the Painted Ponies models
3) Someone to make 1:9 scale Mag7 char dolls for me. Cause I might creep myself out doing it, but I’d still like to do the whole ‘photographic story with models’ thing
4) A personal chef who understands my dietary needs and can make stuff to fit. That tastes good even. And can pack breakfast and lunch for me, and make dinner.
5) 6 million more hours to a) cross-stitch b) read c) calligraphy d) garden e) write fanfic.
6) More artistic talent, so I can paint a 1:9 scale train on the garage wall, and have it look halfway decent…
7) I want to know why my body’s always muscle-achy the last couple years. Is it just stress or something more sinister? Or just old age?
8) Speaking of which, I’d like to know why my right hand, which is my dominant hand, feels more like it’s going to fall off should I over do it on the dishes, writing, stitching, etc… instead of it looking like a freakin’ body-builder’s arm. (Never mind that it would be out of proportion to the rest of me!)
9) I’d like the wherewithal and the wisdom to maintain my diet and weight-loss program effectively this year. I’ve been doing pretty good on maintaining a stable weight… not so hot on losing. So I’m doing something right… but not right *enough*.
10) I really want to be sent to Germany this year. I kind of miss it.
11) I want to get a fence up for a dog, and acquire said dog.
12) And find a riding stable and get a horse.
13) Play more in the SCA. Have time and money to create and modify items to *use* in the SCA. Ok, this belongs in the 6million more hours to… category. I have the time… I just spend it on *other things*… like making LJ posts!
14) 3 more days and a shot of sanity…. Momma T had it right, eesh.
15) I continue to beg shamelessly for the Magnificent 7:ATF TV series to be made. I know they'd probably have to use different actors, but it'd be awesome if some episodes had events happen because of something that happened in the OW series. Or if modern!Vin sometimes heard the spirits of the OW!characters, that'd be really cool. Because I'm a total dork and love the Mag7. :)
