bye-bye Karen

so, officially, the crisis is over, since Karen broke apart without actually ever making land.  still expect on and off thunder-storms today, but other than that, nothing exciting happening.

however, the dog remains glued to my side.  just in case the storms get scary.  it's like walking around with a 100lb tumor.
