Update from yesterday

so... second company interviewed me this morning.  i tried to hit a note of 'i'm really happy to be interviewed, and am taking this seriously, but here's where i want to go.'  i must have hit the right note, and impressed them, because the HR lady called back and asked when i'd be available for a face to face interview.  i'm bemused and excited about this, because it's one step closer to a job!

and also, recruiter-guy hasn't called me yet re the Arlington job, so... what i'd really like to have happen is that the Arlington guys *and* the Mobile guys give me an offer, so i can do a real pro-con workup.  it's not that i want a bidding war, it's more that it's nice to have a choice.  might be asking too much in this economy, but that is what i want, heh.

so... exciting news today, yay!
