i'm re-organizing... again

that silly little guest room is about to become my 'next project', because while i'm saving up for a house, i still want room to do what i want to do.  so i was thinking about it, and thought i'd go ahead and measure the bed and the short wall, and see if the bed will fit short-wise.  there's a bookcase at walmart i've been thinking about getting for the schoolbooks.  i need a new computer desk, because Dad's take-apart furniture is *falling* apart.  and then i'd like to get a chest for my SCA clothes.  I'd like to use the closet strictly as storage for seasonal items and my old stuffed animals.

absolutely no idea if i can accomplish *any* of this! *wry grin*

other things on the list: bedside table for my room, coffee table for my room.  more hideously expensive binders for filing my cross-stitch mags: i bought 16 already, and fully expect to go through another 16 before the mags are sorted and put away.  i wouldn't buy them if they didn't work perfectly.  they do, and i'm happy with them, but still - hideously expensive.

Mom's coming down this weekend for a visit - i'm taking her to Denham Springs up by Baton Rouge to go antique shopping.  and i'm kinda hoping i can talk her into making the first 3 batches of gingerbread cookies that i have on my list - she's faster at it than i am.

some time this weekend, assuming i don't expire for lack of air in the damned heat, i also need to finish planting the planters....
