Green Day - I'm calling it Done
Apr. 30th, 2010 12:14 pmsooo.... the last little bit of editing i kept trying to do on Green Day, at Farad's suggestion, was to take a tighter POV on Vin during his session with Dr. Will, so we could see his emotions and how he was reacting. i don't disagree with Farad's suggestion, it's entirely possible that the section could be fleshed out and intensified a bit. BUT, i came up blank for two whole weeks - no ideas, no inspiration, no nothing.
at the end of the day, i think that's the sticking point - i think that what's been 'holding me up' on editing that bit is that really, the story 'feels done'. i don't think i can write on it anymore, whether or not it could be improved. so, it's there, it's finished, it's complete.
i will do one more spelling/ grammar/ punctuation edit on it this weekend, then i will post it here, and the corrected version at D'n'F. (i need to get together with Charlotte to see how to edit the entry there.)
now, here's the deal: i am honestly grateful to everyone's comments who've been following along as i posted the WIP version of Green Day. it's been wonderful to see everyone comment, and know that i'd have a chance to react to and edit with suggestions from those comments. but when i post the final version, i'm going to close the WIP posts to commentary. they'll still be publicly available, so people can see them and *read* the comments - i'm just going to lock the comments down.
new comments should be posted to the finalized version, and i shall be very grateful to have them there.
again, i want to thank everyone for coming along on the ride with me, and i hope the finalized version of Green Day meets or exceeds all your expectations.
