Feb. 14th, 2010 08:50 pmAlexander Bilodeau (sp?) won Gold on men's mogul's. good going! i'm happy for canada, 'cause they've really been wanting this Gold medal. :-D
the other sport tonight is pairs figure skating - i've decide i really like the first russian couple. at least, the girl. you can tell they have a lot of growth to do, and they had some syncing issues, but the girl just had this way of skating, like everything was both a spontaneous expression of joy and so very easy... she makes everyone else look like they're struggling. the costumes were nice, too - relatively spare and simple, but also very graceful matched the music and skating style exactly. i don't expect them to medal this year, but i expect them to be *amazing* in the years to come.
