ok, a feather is kinky, the whole chicken is perverted, but what does it mean when you *are* the bird? that was a *really* strange dream last night!
in other news, laptop still at Best Buy - i got the impression that nothing in particular was wrong, just that the dx and repair portion of the activities would take longer than i originally thought. in his defense, the guy i had talked to Sunday had literally just started his first day at this store, and his previous store was in Chicago. so he probably wasn't too sure himself how long it really took.
in other other news, i think my brain came up with another kid!fic AU last, in between running away from scary, badly-costumed bird-men. in it, Vin is running an animal rescue operation called 'Rescue Reach', either that or a bounty hunter operation - dreams weren't too clear. Ezra was his office manager, JD his apprentice, and Nathan and Josiah were research/ back-up/ jacks-of-all-trades. Chris was a 7 year old kid living on the street, and Buck was a 13 year old kid living with an older biker gang (and being abused by some of the gang members, but he had his own motorcycle and jacket and stuff). i'm not too clear on how Vin and Chris meet, but i'm pretty sure that Vin comes across Buck and his issues during a confrontation with the biker gang... at any rate, Buck is protective of Chris when *they* meet, because Buck doesn't want him to go through what *he's* going through.
anyone who wants to run with that, go right ahead. between the laptop, and my other stories right now, i've got too many things going on to see where this little plot bunny leads right now.
